Background
In a boutique with mixed LEDs, the hero dress turned gray on camera while shoppers saw emerald. A quick spectral read showed a gap near 620 nm. We swapped to a closer SPD, tweaked white balance, and built a camera profile. The emerald returned, and skin tones stayed honest.
Perspective
I lean toward lights with stable SPDs and strong Rf/Rg over maximal output.
