On a cramped apartment shoot, a client asked for "brighter." Two minutes later we'd tripped a 10A circuit and the fridge died. I pulled out a clamp meter, budgeted amperage, swapped one soft source for two efficient units, and mapped placement by lux. We finished brighter, cooler, and silent.
Perspective
I favor measured performance and spectral quality over brand aesthetics.
